Join a leading aerospace company as a System Design Responsible, focusing on the design and certification of navigation systems for Airbus Helicopters. Job Description: Do you have a general systems related background (e.g., design office, in-service support, training, etc.)? Do you want to be at the center of the design, development, and certification of navigation systems? Do you want to enhance safety and functionality to add value for Airbus Helicopters and our customers? Join the Navigation Systems Design Office as a System Design Responsible. We have multiple developments planned, so we need you now! You will join the team responsible for the design, development, integration, and certification of Navigation Systems on all Airbus Helicopters platforms, including flight management systems, inertial and air data systems, and localization systems (e.g., GNSS).
Your working environment: Major economic hub with Marseille-Provence Airport, Marignane, a dynamic city in southeastern France near Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, offering rich cultural, tourist, and water sports activities.

Your challenges: As a System Design Responsible, you will handle tasks across the full product lifecycle, focusing on air data and inertial systems development, including specifying functions, participating in tendering, managing projects, verification & validation, supplier management, and supporting safety & certification activities. You will work with international teams, suppliers, and various stakeholders, requiring technical rigor, good communication, and project management skills.
Your profile: You need an aeronautical/systems/avionics engineering degree (or equivalent), over 5 years' experience in navigation systems design, curiosity, communication skills, decision-making ability, proactivity, willingness to learn, and proficiency in English and French. Occasional travel may be required. Security clearance may be necessary.
