SCOR offers a 12-month apprenticeship in the Sustainable Insurance team, focusing on ESG frameworks for P&C and Life & Health underwriting. You will study sustainable development topics, analyze underwriting opportunities and report on ESG indicators, gaining hands-on experience with data collection and cross-functional collaboration.

The role emphasizes building ESG culture across the company, with emphasis on climate, biodiversity and responsible risk management.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Excel and the Office package; Python knowledge is a plus.
• Interest in sustainability, rigor and curiosity, plus excellent interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in finance, insurance or sustainability is helpful but not mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Study topics and methodologies related to sustainable development and underwriting, focusing on climate change and biodiversity.
• Analyze underwriting opportunities and risks; assess impact and materiality of sustainability topics (GHG, deforestation, water, plastics).
• Develop extra-financial indicators and reporting for underwriting portfolios in line with stakeholders’ expectations.
• Collect and use ESG data to support the team and help underwriters integrate ESG considerations.
