ISS ESG - ESG Client Relations Manager

ISS ESG is growing! We are seeking multifaceted, interactive, and dynamic professionals interested in the Environmental Social Governance (ESG) and sustainable finance domain. If you want to learn and excel at a company committed to its employees, clients, and a qualitative ESG approach, then ISS might be the best move for you.

The ESG Client Relations Manager acts as the main contact for daily requests from our clients in the Asset Management and Insurance industries.

In this role, you will be the first contact for our full suite of ISS ESG solutions, covering topics such as corporate sustainability ratings, ESG controversy screenings, SDG impact measurement, climate research, sustainable finance regulatory solutions, and engagement initiatives. You will assist your client portfolio with queries on research content and methodology, provide technical assistance on the use of online platforms and data delivery.

The ESG Client Relations Manager bridges client and market needs with internal departments. You provide feedback to help prioritize product development efforts and manage client expectations. Collaboration with departments such as Sales, Product Management, and Research is essential.

Depending on your seniority, you can further develop subject matter expertise and support clients in their investment strategies.

You will be part of the EMEA Client Success team, reporting to the regional CS manager in Paris.

Qualifications

• Experience in a client-facing role within financial services, responsible investment, or sustainability-related consulting.
• Fluency in French and professional proficiency in English.
• Good understanding of financial markets and ESG topics.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple topics and client requests.
• Well-organized, fast learner, with advanced Excel skills (a plus).
• Team player with a collaborative mindset and positive outlook.
• Solution-focused with proactive initiative-taking.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
