Equipment Engineer / System Owner - Hauts-de-France - 12-Month Contract

Our client, a global (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation, is recruiting an Equipment Engineer to join their team on a new expansion project. Based in a charming location in France, this contract role involves significantly increasing the site's capacity for biologics manufacturing.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

1. Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of site vision systems, including maintenance, calibration, spare parts, and asset management.
2. Manage equipment projects, drive continuous improvement, conduct investigations, develop new technologies, and support commercial manufacturing.
3. Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
4. Experience with CIP – SIP, COP – SOP systems, and formulation systems.
5. Monitor daily performance of assigned systems and maximize uptime.
6. Analyze system performance attributes to identify and proactively manage improvements.
7. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs safely.
8. Identify critical spare parts and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
9. Define and scope process improvement activities related to systems.
10. Anticipate, solve, or escalate problems as appropriate.
11. Conduct design reviews for equipment purchases.
12. Perform risk assessments and mitigation projects related to system performance.
