Floor Technician

Overview:

The Floor Technician is responsible for the maintenance of all types of floor surfaces, wall, and upholstered furniture. This position also may be required to perform all tasks.

Qualifications:

• Performs work safely by operating floor equipment correctly and following all safety rules.
• Uses analytical and judgment ability to determine product, equipment, and proper procedure for floor care.
• Provides excellent customer service by utilizing the appropriate interpersonal skills necessary to interact with patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
• Appropriately manages the work environment by being able to strip and refinish floors to standards in an acceptable time frame.
• Extracts carpet to standards in an acceptable time frame.
• Prepares pharmaceutical waste for shipping and other assigned duties related to the Environmental Services Department.
• Comply with all Federal, State, and Local authorities having jurisdiction.
