Solvay is seeking an Environmental Engineer to lead the site's environmental management system and support development projects while ensuring regulatory compliance in France. You will drive environmental performance, monitor risks, and prepare regulatory documentation.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of IED/Seveso, and fluency in French and English. This is a permanent, onsite role with a competitive rewards package.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience would be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of IED and Seveso requirements.
• Proficiency in English and French regulatory frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Drive the site's environmental performance including wastewater, emissions, waste disposal and recovery.
• Monitor and mitigate environmental impacts and industrial risks while ensuring permit compliance.
• Prepare regulatory documentation for development projects.
• Support biodiversity and ecosystem preservation initiatives.
• Lead regulatory watch and compliance action plans.
