Description du poste

We are currently seeking an Air Quality Engineer to support a wide variety of projects. The candidate will have extensive field and office experience working as a task manager leading complex field programs, preparing planning documents and preparing reports for air quality projects as well as environmental characterization.

As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:

  • Performing air quality impact evaluations for incorporation into Environmental Impact Reports (CEQA) and Environmental Impact Statements (NEPA)
  • Preparing project-level air emissions inventories of greenhouse gases, as well as criteria and hazardous air pollutants for municipal utilities, power plants, industrial, landfills and transportation clients.
  • Conducting air dispersion modeling and risk assessments
  • Preparing air permit applications for permits to construct (PSD, NSR), and permits to operate (Title V) regulated facilities
  • Preparing technical documents including annual GHG reports and NESHAP/NSPS compliance reports for Title V reporting.
  • Conducting regulatory reviews and compliance/strategy evaluations
  • Conducting air pollution control technology evaluations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Professional engineering (PE) license.
  • 12 years of related experience.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
