Overview

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for an Environmental Engineer to provide the full range of professional engineering services including consultation, evaluation, planning, systems design, engineering surveys, or project oversight to ensure work conforms to accepted engineering standards. This is a direct hire opportunity with an integrated Construction, Design and Technology solutions firm located in Albany, NY. Salary: $105K.

The Environmental Engineer may supervise and evaluate the work of technicians in projects within their engineering specialty.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering services across consultation, evaluation, planning, systems design, engineering surveys, and project oversight to ensure adherence to engineering standards.
• Supervise and evaluate the work of technicians on projects within the environmental engineering specialty.
• Participate in projects such as construction, extension, alteration, remodeling, and maintenance of roads, buildings, water and sewer systems, public health regulation and monitoring of water systems, and large structures including major roads, environmental remediation systems, dams, floodwalls and bridges.

Qualifications

• Five years of full-time engineering experience in environmental design and construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to manage various projects using established controls and procedures.
• Experience coordinating with multiple trades.
