European Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Leader
Based in Rueil Malmaison, Western Paris
Join a leading global manufacturing group as Regional EHS Leader, driving a ZERO-accident culture across our European operations. Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, you’ll lead the implementation of the group's Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) strategy in line with EU-OSHA frameworks and national legislation.
You’ll collaborate closely with plant leadership and the Global VP of EHS to embed a high-performing safety culture and ensure compliance across all operations.

Job summary
Reporting to the Regional Operations’ Director, the Regional Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Leader is responsible for the implementation of the group's approach to Health, Safety, Environment for the European Operations.
You will develop a high performing Health & Safety organization focused on a ZERO accident and full Health & Safety culture within the regional Plants, working hand in hand with the Global Vice President of Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety.
You will assist the Regional OPS team in identifying impacts of business changes to EHS, identification of successful business tools and applications, tracking and measuring success to promote value added services to the organization.
Working conditions
The role is based at the European HQ in Rueil Malmaison. (majority office based work)
The incumbent will be required to travel on a regular basis, mostly within other European Plants. (on average this will be 2 / 3 days every few weeks, equating to 25-30% of your time)

Minimum job specifications and requirements
Education:
Higher education degree in Safety / Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing related.
Experience in a structured problem solving and continuous improvement mindset workplace. Right methodology on Safety risks assessments.
Experience:
3 to 5 years’ experience minimum in EH&S.
Language:
Fluent English is a prerequisite; any other language is a plus.
EU-OSHA:
Working knowledge of the European Agency For Safety and Health at work, Strategic Framework 2021-2027, EU Directives, EU Guidelines, EU Standards, National Legislation and OSH Strategies.
Credentialing:
Knowledge of EurOSHM and Eur OSHT [credentialing for OSH Managers and OSH Technicians].
Autonomous and methodical and rigorous (data base and verification of documents need accuracy & method).
Self-disciplined, proactive, able to propose.
Easy communication with external parts and new external parts, positive attitude.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Must be highly organized and demonstrate excellent judgment, decision and discretion abilities.
Roll your sleeves up and get things done, proactively and reactively.
