Zusammenfassung

Kleinfelder is seeking an entry-level Environmental Engineer, Geologist or Environmental Scientist to join our environmental team in the Austin office. You will execute projects under supervision, gaining exposure to environmental assessments, permitting, remediation and site characterization for regional clients.

The role requires 0–3 years in environmental consulting, a relevant bachelor's degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field.
• 0–3 years of environmental consulting experience.
• Experience with clients and cross-disciplinary teams.

Aufgaben

• Perform assignments associated with environmental assessments, audits, permitting, subsurface investigations, remediation, and monitoring projects.
• Develop and prepare work plans, project deliverables, geologic cross sections, and reports.
• Lead small teams and mentor in technical capabilities.
• Coordinate technical aspects of small to moderate size projects with PMs and senior staff.
• Assist area business development activities and maintain effective client relations.
• Prepare scopes of work and estimates; demonstrate competency in groundwater and soil sampling.
• Installation of monitoring wells.
• Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
• Air quality permitting and engineering.
• Authoring technical reports.
• Progress sites toward regulatory closure.
• QA/QC observation and documentation in support of investigations.
