Job summary

Sonepar, a leading independent family-owned group and a world leader in electrical equipment distribution, is seeking an Enterprise Architect – Applications. You will define the target application architecture and guide implementation across ERP, commerce, supply chain, data, integration, digital workplace and AI-enabled capabilities.

In this role, you will collaborate with business leaders, regional IT, product and engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure, and integrated enterprise

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Enterprise/Application Architecture roles.
• Experience in global transformation programs.
• Knowledge of end-to-end business processes.
• Experience with ERP, Supply Chain, Commerce, PIM, Integration and Data Platforms.
• Knowledge of API-led, event-driven, cloud-native, microservices patterns.
• TOGAF knowledge preferred.
• Experience with major enterprise platforms (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Adobe, ServiceNow).

We are looking for an Enterprise Architect – Applications who can combine strategic vision, deep application architecture expertise and pragmatic execution to help shape the future of our enterprise platforms.

This is not an architecture role focused on theory alone. It is an opportunity to influence real transformation decisions, simplify a complex global landscape and ensure that strategic technology investments deliver lasting business value.

As our Enterprise Architect – Applications, you will define the target application architecture and guide its implementation across ERP, commerce, supply chain, data, integration, digital workplace and AI-enabled capabilities.

Working closely with business leaders, regional IT organizations, Product and Engineering teams, and strategic technology partners, you will ensure that our enterprise applications are scalable, integrated, secure and aligned with Sonepar’s long‑term strategy. Your mission will be to reduce complexity, strengthen architectural consistency and enable Sonepar’s global transformation through a modern, sustainable and business‑driven application landscape

What You'll Bring

• At least 10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture or large-scale Application Architecture.
• Strong experience in complex enterprise environments and global transformation programs.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise applications and end-to-end business processes.
• Experience across areas such as ERP, Supply Chain, Commerce, Pricing, Product Information Management, Integration and Data Platforms.
• Strong knowledge of modern architecture patterns, including API-led, event-driven, cloud-native, SaaS and microservices architectures.
• Experience with integration platforms, middleware technologies, application lifecycle management and technology standardization.
• The ability to navigate multinational and matrix organizations and influence stakeholders at senior level.
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in B2B distribution, retail, industrial, manufacturing, or supply chain-intensive industries.
• Familiarity with modern commerce and omnichannel ecosystems.
• Experience with AI-enabled business capabilities and digital transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Experience with major enterprise platforms such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Adobe, ServiceNow, or similar ecosystems.

Work Mode & Location

- Hybrid: 3 days in Paris (8ème) after the probation period
