Sonepar seeks an AI & Performance Analytics Expert to design, build and scale AI-powered analytics capabilities across digital journeys, while staying hands-on to address priority questions and govern the analytics ecosystem.

In a hybrid role, you will collaborate with Product and Performance teams, leverage GA4 and BigQuery, improve data quality, and deliver scalable self-service insights that drive faster decisions. English and French fluency required.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in applied AI and analytics automation.
• Hands-on experience designing and building LLM-powered agents, copilots, workflow orchestration or tool-calling solutions
• Strong hands-on expertise in GA4 and digital analytics, with experience using BigQuery
• Strong SQL skills and working proficiency in Python or equivalent scripting
• Strong hands-on experience with product, journey or digital performance analytics
• Experience with APIs, Git-based workflows and data-quality monitoring
• Fluent in English & French (written and spoken)

We are looking for an AI & Performance Analytics Expert who can bring together applied AI, analytics, automation, and business performance to create practical capabilities that help teams move faster from data to decisions.

This role is not about experimentation for its own sake. It is about transforming high-value use cases into reliable and scalable solutions that reduce manual work, improve data quality, and support stronger decision-making.

As our AI & Performance Analytics Expert, you will design, maintain, and scale AI-powered analytics capabilities. You will remain hands‑on in addressing priority business questions while supporting the effective governance of our digital analytics ecosystem.

Your mission will be to reduce manual analytics effort, accelerate insight generation, improve data reliability, and progressively scale AI‑enabled performance capabilities across our customer journeys.

Key responsibilities

Drive AI-Powered Analytics & Automation

• Identify high-value opportunities where AI can accelerate performance management and decision‑making.
• Design, build and scale AI agents, copilots, and automated workflows that transform data into actionable insights.
• Turn successful experiments into reliable, business‑ready capabilities.

Accelerate Performance Insight

• Develop AI-driven solutions that uncover trends, anomalies, opportunities and performance drivers across digital journeys.
• Partner with Product and Performance teams to evaluate feature performance, measure business impact, and support data-driven decisions.
• Leverage GA4, BigQuery and advanced analytics to deliver meaningful recommendations.

Deliver Strategic Analytics

• Lead high‑impact analyses on customer journeys, funnels, experimentation, engagement and conversion performance.
• Translate complex business questions into clear analytical approaches and actionable outcomes.
• Identify recurring needs and transform them into scalable self‑service or automated solutions.

Ensure Data Quality & Analytics Excellence

• Strengthen data reliability through automated monitoring, anomaly detection and tracking governance.
• Proactively identify issues and improve the quality, consistency and trustworthiness of analytics data.
• Contribute to building scalable analytics standards and best practices.

Enable and Govern Analytics Tools

• Drive the adoption and effective use of analytics platforms such as Contentsquare and SEMrush.
• Support user onboarding, governance, vendor relationships and value realization.
• Help establish a modern, AI‑enabled analytics ecosystem that empowers teams across the organization.

• Progressively internalize and strengthen Sonepar’s AI expertise.

The experience you bring

• Strong experience in applied AI and analytics automation, with proven ability to turn business needs into practical, scalable AI‑powered solutions
• Hands‑on experience designing and building LLM‑powered agents, copilots, workflow orchestration or tool‑calling solutions
• Strong hands‑on expertise in GA4 and digital analytics, with experience using BigQuery
• Strong SQL skills and working proficiency in Python or equivalent scripting
• Strong hands‑on experience with product, journey or digital performance analytics
• Experience with APIs, Git‑based workflows and data‑quality monitoring
• Strong ownership and autonomy, with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
• Nice to have: experience with Microsoft Fabric or comparable cloud data platforms, GTM / server‑side GTM, Contentsquare and/or SEMrush
• Fluent in English & French (written and spoken)
