ARTE is seeking a Digital Content Editor (M/F) to localise the ARTE.tv offering for English-speaking Europe from its Strasbourg base. The role involves curating content, supporting localisation workflows, and driving audience reach through distribution initiatives including newsletter copywriting and push notifications.

You will write copy, edit visuals, manage metadata and ensure high-quality English subtitles and voice versions across digital touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in media, journalism or digital publishing.
• Professional experience in the English-language digital media sector.
• Native-level command of English, both written and spoken.
• Very good knowledge of French and/or German.

Responsabilités

• Curate content on arte.tv for English-speaking Europe in line with news agenda and platform performance.
• Support localisation workflows for the ARTE catalogue for English-speaking Europe.
• Drive audience reach and engagement with English-speaking audiences through content distribution initiatives, including newsletter copywriting and push notifications.
• Write copy, edit visuals and manage programme metadata for titles across ARTE’s digital touchpoints (web, mobile, Smart TV).
• Edit and quality-check English subtitles and voice versions for the catalogue and ensure correct online publication.
