Engineering Project Manager France / Portugal

Main Missions

In line with the Group's industrial policy, the Engineering Project Manager will lead all engineering projects within their scope (France / Portugal), ensuring compliance with Cost, Quality, Time, Safety, and Environment standards.

You will be part of the Corporate Engineering teams. Your main responsibilities include:

Challenge client needs:

• Conduct or oversee design studies to propose cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and draft functional specifications.
• Receive and analyze bids.
• Anticipate risks throughout all project phases.
• Ensure process standards compliance.

Organization and Planning:

• Structure projects using management tools and define operational rules for safe, quality, and cost-effective execution.
• Coordinate between stakeholders (suppliers, clients).
• Organize and lead stakeholder meetings to make decisions and allocate resources.
• Set objectives and deadlines for tasks.
• Ensure technical solutions, budgets, and deadlines are met.
• Coordinate work execution with contractors and technical teams.
• Manage transfer of equipment to production and maintenance teams.
• Provide technical support to factories.
• Participate in progress and design reviews with suppliers and factories for continuous improvement.

Profile

With an engineering background, you have at least 5 years of professional experience in process engineering within an operational plant, engineering firm, or design office.

Proficiency in French and English is mandatory.

Knowledge of food industry standards and quality regulations is advantageous.
