ScorePlay, the AI-powered sports media infrastructure, is scaling its product and engineering org. As Engineering Manager, you will partner with the Head of Engineering to shape structure, strengthen mentorship, and help the team deliver at scale while preserving craftsmanship and culture.

You’ll lead 4–6 engineers, mentor them, and build a culture of technical excellence, psychological safety, and collaboration as we grow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, including 2–3 years leading people.
• Strong backend foundation, Go preferred.
• Experience mentoring developers and improving team velocity.
• Balanced technical depth with empathy and communication.
• Hands-on leadership in a high-growth startup.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of 4–6 engineers.
• Define career paths and growth frameworks for your team.
• Own the delivery rhythm from scoping to shipping and QA.
• Collaborate with PMs and Design to translate goals into plans.
• Proactively identify blockers, risks, and debt and address them.
• Partner with TA on hiring and onboarding for future engineers.
• Shape processes, rituals, and best practices to scale.
