Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, including at least 2–3 years leading people (Tech Lead or EM).
• Strong technical foundation in backend systems, ideally Go, but we value architectural depth over language expertise.
• Experience mentoring developers, running 1:1s, and improving team velocity and code quality.
• Skilled at balancing technical depth with empathy and communication.
• Excited to still be hands‑on at a strategic level, reviewing, unblocking, prototyping, without being in the sprint delivery loop.
• Experienced in a high-growth startup or scale‑up (10–50 engineers) where process and structure were being built.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of 4–6 engineers and shape their growth.
• Own and continuously improve delivery rhythm from scoping to QA for your feature team.
• Translate product goals into technical plans with PMs and Design, and unblock blockers.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and customers to ensure feasible, scalable work.
