Semarchy in Lyon is seeking an Engineering Manager to guide a growing software team, ensuring delivery aligns with product vision and quality standards. You will coach engineers, recruit talent, and own commitments in a fast-paced environment.

Lead execution, promote DX, and collaborate closely with Product. You will drive agile ceremonies, align with peers, and contribute to technical direction while communicating fluently in English and French. Flexible remote options are available.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and growing software engineers.
• Strong delivery and prioritization skills with commitments.
• Solid engineering background: quality, testing, CI/CD, code review.
• Knowledgeable in secure software development practices.
• Ability to blend conceptual, business, and technical vision.
• Excellent collaboration with Product and other teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and grow engineers (performance, career development, wellbeing).
• Recruit and scale the team (interviews, hiring decisions).
• Drive execution: prioritize, delegate, manage dependencies and risks.
• Ensure predictable delivery timelines and high-quality standards.
• Partner closely with Product Team to deliver customer value.
• Ensure agile process execution and lead ceremonies.
• Align with other Engineering Managers for platform consistency.
• Co-lead technical direction with Tech Leads and contribute to reviews.
