Working in the tech team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients.

What you'll do

Doctolib is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our Patient Services domain and help us become the #1 digital and secure medical companion for patients.

You will be both a technical leader and a people manager, coaching and training your team members while building an amazing engineering organization at Doctolib. In this role, you will:

  1. Lead the engineering team responsible for maximizing the number of patients who benefit from our services, building on the platform's current reach of more than 80 million accounts.
  2. Empower your team to build better products, playing a pivotal role in improving one of France's most downloaded apps!
  3. Ensure business objectives are met as a team by driving growth and performance of each team member.
  4. Set the roadmap for your team and be the end-to-end owner of the team's delivery and quality.
  5. Participate in code reviews and be hands-on if required.
  6. Lead cross-functional initiatives to uplevel our engineering team.
  7. Partner with Talent & People teams to recruit, develop, and retain talent.

  • Have at least 4 years of people management experience with an engineering team.
  • Are familiar with technologies like Typescript (React and React Native), Ruby on Rails, and Java, and are open to ramping up if needed.
  • Have proven experience in optimizing website performance focusing on speed and efficiency.
  • Possess a solid understanding of SEO principles and strategies to enhance search engine ranking and user engagement.
  • Have experience with integrating CRM solutions that support marketing automation to boost user engagement and retention.
  • Understand the importance of testing your code.
  • Can adapt to the most efficient technologies to solve issues.
  • Have proven experience developing efficient, maintainable, and secure B2C products.
  • Are comfortable speaking English daily with your team.
