Your role
Our client, a Laval-based company specializing in conveyor and Cap-Feeder system design, seeks a QHSE Manager for a permanent 40-hour/week position.
As part of the management team, you will report to the site manager and the OHS USA department.
Your main responsibilities include:

• Overseeing and implementing QHSE practices
• Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance related to health, safety, and environment
• Conducting audits and incident investigations
• Promoting a culture of QHSE excellence among employees and stakeholders
• Monitoring KPIs and reporting to management
• Maintaining and improving ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems
• Managing building maintenance and associated budget
• Acting as the main contact with external bodies (CNESST, certification bodies, etc.)
• Leading COMEX meetings (part of the company's Executive Committee)
• Managing a team of 2 employees

Language requirements
English proficiency is required for:
- Communicating with international clients
- Collaborating with English-speaking partners
- Drafting reports, proposals, and contracts in English

Professional skills
- Autonomous, proactive, with strong leadership
- Expert in QHSE management and compliance
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and prioritize
- Effective interaction with strategic levels of the company

Minimum requirements
- At least 2 years' experience in QHSE roles
- Familiarity with regulation 3 of the SST
- Diploma in health, safety, or environment, or equivalent experience
- Fluency in French and English
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, CNESST, OSHA regulations
- Advanced MS Office and audit management skills

- Salary between $85,000 and $110,000 depending on experience + 15% bonus
