Compass Lexecon in Paris invites a Spring 2027 intern to join our energy and carbon market modelling team for up to 6 months. You will work on quantitative analyses, develop financial and market models, and support regulatory and advisory projects for European clients.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a Master’s in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Statistics, with strong analytical skills, proficiency in Python or R, and fluency in French and English.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics or related field.
• Strong quantitative skills and ability to work with complex data.
• Fluency in French and English required; German is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to economic and financial analyses for energy and carbon market projects.
• Assist in developing and refining internal market and financial models.
• Conduct market research and policy analysis across electricity, gas, and carbon markets.
• Collaborate with international teams and present insights to senior staff.
