Hornetsecurity, a leading global provider of cloud-based security solutions, is seeking an AI Research Engineer (m/f/d) to join the PAIR team. You will drive design, development, experimentation, and production deployment of innovative AI services (LLMs, autonomous agents, NLP, analytics) in a cybersecurity context.

You will own AI solutions end-to-end, working with multidisciplinary teams to turn ideas into robust, scalable systems, while contributing to applied research in the Security Lab.

Qualifications

• Applied AI research engineer with at least 3 years of experience in backend development or AI in production.
• Strong command of Go and Python for AI/ML.
• Solid experience with cloud-native architectures: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability and real-time services.
• AI/ML/NLP skills: LLMs, embeddings, classification, text generation; familiarity with MLOps is a plus.
• Proven ability to design, optimize and deploy scalable AI services in production.

Responsabilités

• End-to-End Ownership of AI Solutions: design, develop, and maintain AI services from prototype to production.
• Ensure robustness, performance, scalability, and operational reliability of solutions in industrial settings.
• Methodically test and benchmark AI models with standard metrics.
• Document results and propose innovative solutions for cybersecurity challenges.
• Innovation & Technology Watch: monitor advances in AI/ML/LLMs and contribute to the technical roadmap.
• Technical Leadership, Documentation & Collaboration: produce clear documentation and support teams.
