Job Title: Employment Lawyer

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Employment Lawyer to join our legal team.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and apply all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Introduce best legal scenarios, frameworks, and templates related to employment and termination.
  • Review and draft employment contracts, policies, and employee handbooks.
  • Provide legal counsel on workplace issues such as discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination.
  • Conduct internal investigations of employment-related legal complaints.
  • Advise management on best practices for employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations, including personal data protection (GDPR and others).
  • Support complex employment terminations across different jurisdictions.
  • Represent the company in employment-related legal proceedings, including mediation and litigation.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on employment law and compliance.
  • Develop compliance frameworks and governance checklists for mitigation and management.
  • Create templates related to employment and compliance.
  • Identify and manage internal/external compliance risks; support audits and due diligence processes.
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies for top employment and compliance risks.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in law from an acknowledged European university.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an international company in employment law.
  • Strong understanding of European employment regulations, including GDPR.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research, document interpretation, and conflict resolution.
  • Preferred: Advanced certification in employment law and experience in corporate legal departments.
  • Excellent knowledge of business, contract employment, social security law, and international regulation.
  • Experience in drafting legal documents.
  • Ability to work independently and accept responsibility for tasks.
  • Advanced command of legal English (reading, writing, speaking).
