First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for per diem hospital assignments. Choose shifts that fit your schedule while earning competitive pay and enjoying flexible scheduling.

This role offers daily and weekly pay options, with a supportive local staffing team and opportunities to work both evening and night shifts as needed. Requirements include active RN license, 2 years ER experience, BLS and ACLS, and ability to complete facility

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing.
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care ER setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Coordinate care with physicians and healthcare teams.
• Complete assessments and documentation per facility requirements.
• Perform RN duties within scope of practice.

ER RN Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting

• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations
• Complete required assessments and documentation
