Description du poste

Aras is an innovative, global software company that provides advanced Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software solutions to business customers worldwide including Airbus, Audi, GE, GM, Honda, Kawasaki, Microsoft, Mitsubishi, and more.

We are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to play an integral role in the customer decision process.

The Pre-Sales Engineer will work individually and as part of the EMEA Pre-Sales team to establish the business and technical value of Aras’ products, solutions and services to meet customer specific PLM and digital transformation requirements.

You will communicate the Aras PLM vision for full lifecycle digital thread solutions by building and demonstrating Aras’ products, configuration and customization abilities in order to secure the “technical closure” in complex solutions sales.

In your role as a trusted advisor for customers, you will collaborate with sales, consulting, and product management resources to ensure our technical solutions address customer needs and exceed the expectations of end users, management and IT.

The Pre-Sales Engineer will report to our EMEA Pre-Sales Manager. (The position can be remotely based)

Responsibilities
  1. Lead technical Pre-Sales activities for customers.
  2. Translate business requirements into IT solutions.
  3. Work closely with Technical Account Management (TAM), Customer Success Management (CSM) and Professional Services (PSO) teams to close new customers and expansions, and grow the sales pipeline.
  4. Scope, create and deliver convincing and deal winning presentations focusing on customers’ business value as well as highlighting architecture, capabilities and functionality of an enterprise SaaS Software Solution.
  5. Map customer requirements to current and future features to ensure a clear representation of how Aras’ solutions address the customer needs.
  6. Lead the build and execution of configured and customized Aras solution demonstrations.
  7. Lead the technical responses for customer provided RFI/RFP/RFQ requests.
Skills
  1. Good understanding of PLM processes and master data, and their importance for smooth operations.
  2. Strong knowledge/experience in WEB development (C#, dot.net, GIT, SQL…).
  3. Excellent listening capability, analytical construction of message content, clear and concise delivery of messages.
  4. Passion to work in a multicultural environment.
  5. Good understanding of the enterprise application landscape, principles and standards to the level that supports decision making on integration solutions within enterprise applications.
  6. Good story-telling experience.
  7. Ability to collaborate and partner with business and IT in defining and executing large projects and change programs.
  8. Strong relationship building capabilities.
  9. Experience in promoting, setting up and executing digital transformation projects in industrial environments.
  10. Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills on executive/senior management level.
  11. Good understanding of the High-Tech and Process-Industry including their business processes.
