Your role is to join our EMEA team as a Data Scientist to leverage data to drive strategic decisions across markets, optimize marketing and commercial investments, and support B2B and consumer-facing initiatives. You will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, finance and product teams to deliver actionable insights that fuel growth and innovation.

You will have the opportunity to work on the Nuance Audio product range, which is being launched across EMEA and already demonstrates strong business impact. This is a newly created role, ideal for a proactive and entrepreneurial Data Scientist who is eager to define analytical frameworks, develop new methodologies, and build data-driven capabilities across diverse markets. The role may evolve to include other Wearables such as Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta.

Main responsibilities
  • Market Understanding & Share Analysis
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and category dynamics across EMEA.
  • Track and model market share evolution by country, channel, and product line.
  • Drivers of Success
  • Identify and quantify key drivers of performance including brand equity, product range, pricing, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Develop models to assess the impact of brand and product strategies on business outcomes.
  • ROI & Investment Optimization
  • Evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of marketing campaigns, trade promotions, and other commercial initiatives.
  • Recommend budget allocations and investment strategies based on predictive analytics.
  • B2B Business Steering
  • Monitor and analyze correlations between in-store activities such as product demos, sales and merchandising efforts.
  • Track sell-out performance to consumers and identify levers to improve conversion and engagement.
  • Consumer Usage Insights
  • Analyze consumer behaviour data to understand usage patterns (e.g., hours of use, context such as TV viewing, restaurant visits).
  • Segment users based on behaviour and develop personas to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Build and maintain forecasting models for sales, demand, and market trends.
  • Support scenario planning such as seasonality analysis and business simulations to guide strategic decisions.
Main requirements
  • Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a data science or analytics role, preferably in a multinational or EMEA-focused environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with forecasting, market modelling, and ROI analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
  • Experience in B2B and/or consumer goods industries is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; additional EMEA languages are a plus.
