EMEA Controller: Month-End, SOX & Compliance

Job summary

Concentrix in Paris is seeking a Controller to lead Specialist Accounting for the EMEA region, delivering quality, timely month-end closes in line with IFRS and US GAAP.

You'll manage balance sheet accuracy for France, liaise with FP&A, AP, GLSS and Intercompany teams, and drive SOX controls improvements while supporting auditors during fieldwork. Flexibility around month-end is expected as deadlines approach.

Qualifications

• Part Qualified Accountant with at least 3 years in an accounting role.
• Studying towards an Accounting qualification.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to engage with senior levels.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet timelines.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial systems.
• Demonstrates flexibility in a period of change.
• English proficiency essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage in-country deliverables to meet finance closing deadlines.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and quarterly reviews for France.
• Handle labour-related entries and post journals to GL.
• Oversee SOX compliance and controls for the EMEA region.
• Prepare and post monthly journals for accruals and prepayments.
• Review GL accounts for accuracy and investigate variances.
• Assess month-end P&L variances for statutory accounting perspectives.
• Provide variance commentary and key matter updates.
• Support Transfer Pricing activities in month-end processes.
• Assist with year-end closure and auditor information requests.
• Provide ad-hoc support to EMEA Accounting leadership.
