EMEA Controller: Month-End Close & SOX Lead

Job summary

Concentrix in Paris is seeking a Controller to lead the monthly close for the France region, ensuring accurate balance sheets and P&L. You will partner with FP&A, AP, GLSS and Intercompany teams, oversee SOX controls, and support audit fieldwork.

The role requires 3+ years accounting experience, part-qualification progress, and strong Excel/ERP skills, with fluency in English. Expect tight deadlines and collaboration with business units across EMEA.

Qualifications

• Part Qualified Accountant with at least 3 years experience in accounting
• Studying towards an Accounting qualification
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to engage at senior level
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems
• English proficiency essential

Responsibilities

• Manage in-country deliverables to meet finance closing deadlines
• Responsible for monthly balance sheet reconciliations and quarterly balance sheet reviews for France region
• Responsible for labour related entries
• Posting journals to general ledger for related balance sheet accounts activity and support team
• Responsible for managing SOX compliance and controls for the EMEA region
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries related to accruals and prepayments
• Review the accuracy of general ledger accounts, investigate issues, and make recommendations
• Responsible to review month end P&L variances for statutory accounting
• Providing commentary on variance from expectations and other key matters
• Responsible for Transfer Pricing activities as part of the month-end processes
• Year-end closure and preparation of information for auditors and dealing with their queries
• Provides ad-hoc support to the EMEA Accounting leadership team
