Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies is seeking a seasoned Communications Leader to drive regional strategy across Emerging Markets. You will liaison regional communications strategy with local execution teams, adapt global materials, and guide local PR agencies to elevate brand storytelling.

You will oversee press office activities, launch influencer programs, manage events, and ensure consistency across markets. Fluent English required; Spanish/Italian a plus; leadership experience in beauty or consumer

Qualifications

• 5+ years of equivalent work experience in Communications/PR (Beauty experience a plus, regional experience a plus).
• 2+ years leading agencies, people, or matrix teams across multiple markets.
• Strong PR and Influencer Management background and event orchestration experience.
• Detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, creative thinker.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong planning, prioritization, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Highly collaborative, cooperative, and creative team player.
• Fluent English required (Spanish and Italian are a plus).

Responsibilities

• Act as the key liaison from regional communications strategy and market execution across Emerging Markets (Middle East, Turkey, India, Africa…), working through local executional teams.
• Localize and adapt global/regional toolkits for cultural resonance and platform nuances.
• Lead and guide local teams and/or PR agencies across assigned markets: set briefing, KPIs and calendar, performance reviews, budget planning…
• Build high standards and cross-market consistency providing playbooks, frameworks and ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Oversee press office via partners: media strategy, pitch angles, evergreen storytelling, spokespersons briefing and interview readiness.
• Set the influencer program framework (tiering, content formats, brand safety checks) and approve market plans
• Govern product seeding & sampling principles, and allocations via local teams.
• Collaborate with partners on events and brand activations: define objectives, success criteria and post-mortems
• Oversee affiliation strategy implementation across direct-to-consumer and retail channels.
• Coordinate press and communications assets creation & adaptation specific to market cluster, maintaining asset and artwork quality, ensuring version control and translations.
