Who will you be working with?

You will work closely with the global sourcing organization, including regional teams and commodity leaders, to identify, plan, and execute these strategic initiatives.

How will you make a difference?

As an EMEA Commodity Performance Project Lead, you will be responsible for driving cross-functional collaboration, managing project timelines and budgets, and delivering measurable results that improve Wabtec's overall commodity performance in the EMEA region.

What will your typical day look like?

1. Identify and prioritize commodity performance improvement opportunities through data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and industry benchmarking.
2. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and KPIs, to ensure successful implementation.
3. Facilitate cross-functional teams to align on project objectives, roles and responsibilities, and communication cadence.
4. Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and communicate status to key stakeholders.
5. Collaborate with regional and global sourcing leaders to align on strategic priorities and ensure project alignment.
6. Analyze project outcomes, document lessons learned and recommend future improvements.
7. Provide monthly reporting to senior leadership on project status and impact, integrating action monitoring in the PST Tool (Project Saving tracker).
8. Consolidate financial results for the Trade Parts projects defining the EAC (Estimated at Completion) view versus the As Sold view.

What do we want to know from you?

1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
2. +8 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management.
3. Professional English and French language.
4. Proficient in Data Analysis, Excel and Power BI.
5. Project Management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
6. Communication and Stakeholder management skills.
7. Strategic mindset, Business acumen and Commercial awareness.
8. Curious, agile and flexible.
9. You have the ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
