Jobtailor in Île-de-France is seeking a Lead Embedded Software Engineer to translate system requirements, define the project roadmap, and drive milestones for a high-assurance platform. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver robust C/C++ software on RTOS and Embedded Linux.

You will oversee architecture, interface with hardware, and guide a team of engineers while ensuring compliance with ISO 26262/IEC 62304 and DO-178C where applicable.

Qualifications

5 to 10 years of experience in embedded software engineering.
At least 3 years of experience in project management or as a Lead Developer.
Strong command of C/C++ development on real-time systems and Embedded Linux.
Fluent professional English.
Experience with RTOSs, Embedded Linux, and bare-metal development.
Knowledge of CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, and BLE/Zigbee.

Requirements

5 to 10 years of experience in embedded software engineering
At least 3 years of experience in project management or as a Lead Developer
Strong command of C/C++ development on real-time systems and Embedded Linux
Proven leadership skills to unite a technical team and manage complex projects
Analytical rigor when addressing safety requirements and hardware architectures
Fluent professional English, both spoken and written
Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and Rust
Experience with RTOSs (FreeRTOS, Zephyr), Embedded Linux, and bare-metal development
Knowledge of CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, and BLE/Zigbee buses and protocols
Proficiency with Git, Jira, Confluence, HIL/SIL test benches, and JTAG probes
Knowledge of ISO 26262, DO-178C, and IEC 62304 standards
