Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse invites applications for an Embedded / Simulation Software Architect Engineer. You will lead architectural design for embedded real-time software, ensuring DO-178B/C compliance and product-line engineering practices across avionics and simulation domains.

The role focuses on bridging customers and internal teams, deploying scalable architectures, and driving verification and certification strategies while exploring innovative computing approaches such as

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in software engineering or related field with embedded focus.
• Strong knowledge of embedded real-time software and safety standards.
• Experience applying DO-178B/C and product-line engineering.

Responsabilités

• Act as the lead technical bridge between customers and internal teams to translate needs into certifiable software requirements.
• Build complex software architectures balancing performance, safety and reuse.
• Define and deploy modeling frameworks, component-based approaches, and product line engineering.
• Define development and verification strategies compliant with airworthiness rules and architecure compliance.
• Provide technical expertise for feasibility analyses, estimations and risk assessments; explore Many-core and HPC options.
