Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse seeks a Simulation Product Engineer to join the Modelling and Simulation Department. You will develop real-time simulation benches for the engineering community within the Integration Platforms team, delivering products and documentation while supporting customers.

The role requires a strong engineering background, Linux/C scripting skills, and knowledge of aircraft systems, with proven project coordination abilities in a multicultural environment.

Job Description

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Simulation Product Engineer (f/m) to join our Modelling and Simulation Department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing real-time simulation products for the engineering community. As part of the Integration Platforms team, you will be involved in managing and delivering simulation benches aiming at providing state-of-the-art simulation for aircraft programs.

Your challenges in you futur role of Simulation Engineer

• Define and plan the evolutions of simulation products according to customers' needs.
• Cascade needs, schedule, and coordinate the development of product subcomponents (simulation models, simulation frameworks, electronic interfaces).
• Integrate and validate evolutions from a multi-system standpoint to ensure product performance and representativeness.
• Deliver new products and associated documentation while providing technical support to customers.
• Propose innovative solutions to improve product policy and steer subcontracted or offshore activities.

Your boarding pass

• Strong background in engineering or applied computer science to handle various information and build virtual aircraft.
• Software troubleshooting knowledge involving Linux, C, and scripts.
• General understanding of aircraft systems (such as Flight Controls, Autopilot, Engines) and how they work together.
• Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate with multiple stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
