Alpine School District is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional to support classroom instruction and supervise students with special needs in the resource setting. You will assist in implementing plans, monitor behavior, and provide clerical support to teachers and staff.

Position is non-contract with no benefits. Hours are 5.5 per day; hourly lanes range from $15.69 to $16.70. An in-district training pathway can qualify for lane 6, increasing responsibilities and pay.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Age 16+.
• Must complete mandatory employee training within the first 3 months.

Responsabilidades

• Adapts activities and materials under teacher direction to reinforce goals.
• Administers first aid and basic medical assistance as instructed.
• Administers tests and assignments to support learning objectives.
• Collects data to monitor student progress.
• Assists students with self-care and daily living activities.
• Supports individual or small group instruction and literacy/math practice.
• Attends trainings and meetings to learn job-related procedures.
• Communicates with supervising staff to review progress and plans.
• Models appropriate social behavior and supports IEP goals.
• Maintains materials, records, and classroom equipment.
