Join Valeo and help shape the future of vehicle technology! We are looking for an Electronics Project Buyer M/F at our Bobigny site, which specializes in developing drivers and data controllers for visibility systems.

Your role involves identifying, sourcing, and managing suppliers for platform components in line with the Group's segment strategies.

As a member of the platform team:

• Attend and contribute to platform meetings, ensuring purchasing strategies are integrated.

Your Missions:

• Lead or support all project activities involving purchasing until project completion.
• Prepare sourcing strategies aligned with segment and regional constraints.
• Support or enforce purchasing decisions and arbitration within the network.
• Contract volumes, SOP, LTA, cost roadmaps, and price matrices globally, monitoring capacity risks.
• Assess supplier risks related to development, production capacity, technical and quality capabilities, and financial stability.
• Manage project milestones related to suppliers and monitor progress through PQA stages, ensuring timely parts delivery.
• Coordinate serial life updates and qualification changes, ensuring proper transfer to serial production and productivity actions.
• Support project buyers in meeting commodity strategies, localization needs, and securing the supply base.

About you:

• Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience.
• Graduate degree (engineer or master) with a strong interest in technical environments.
• Fluent in English.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
• Experience in electronic commodity purchasing is a plus.
