Energy Management - Innovation & Technology Organization
Our electronic design expert team within CTO Europe comprises highly skilled professionals in electronic engineering, printed circuit board design, system modeling, and component technology. They possess a strong understanding of electronic design principles, industry standards, and CAD tools.
Their mission is to coach and support designers across all Lines of Business (LoB) to conceive, prototype, and optimize electronic circuits and boards to meet specific technical specifications, ensuring adherence to quality, reliability, and regulatory standards.
Your Role
Reporting to the Technical Director, you will lead a multiskilled team of 25 engineers, managing both technical and personnel aspects. You will also handle budget preparation, management, and tracking for both Opex and Capex investments.
Your Missions
Technical Management
- Manage design and development activities of the team (20+ members).
- Ensure team deliverables align with LoB and electronics CoE roadmaps and plans.
- Oversee activities across electromagnetic compatibility, mechatronics, PCB layout, electronics reliability, and power electronics.
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to establish priorities and planning.
- Manage budgets for Opex and Capex investments, including projects and laboratory resources.
- Communicate team activities internally and externally.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with engineering standards to improve operational efficiency.
People Management
- Engage and motivate your team, creating a safe and high-performance environment.
- Lead a team of experts with diverse experience levels.
- Promote diversity and challenge the status quo.
- Manage hiring, upskilling, evaluations, goal setting, and succession planning.
- Ensure team competency in electronics hardware, firmware, embedded modeling, and software to support innovation and digitization.
The role is based in Grenoble (Electropole).
Your Profile
- Master's degree in Electronics Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in electronics design and project management.
- Experience in technical management and team building is preferred.
- Experience in setting up collaborations or research programs is a plus.
