Job summary

LEM is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer in France to lead the design of current sensors, voltage sensors, meters, and BMS. You will own design work from calculations to schematics, and deliver energy-efficient solutions for industrial, automotive, and renewable applications.

You will prototype, test, and integrate hardware, contribute across the project life cycle, mentor peers, and engage with lead customers to shape product roadmaps while driving innovation and IP creation.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Electronics or similar.
• 3-5 years of R&D/design experience in Electronics with analog design.
• Understanding of magnetism and electrical fields with experience on magnetic design (transformer, CT, chokes…).
• Problem solver who can assess situations, gather input, and drive solutions.
• Be creative and innovative with a willingness to explore new solutions.
• Ability to stay focused on solutions and maintain positivity under pressure.
• Ability to establish positive working relationships and foster teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Own design and development of current sensors, voltage sensors, meters, BMS, etc., incl. calculations, simulations, schematics, component selection, and energy-efficient operation.
• Circuit design: prototyping, testing, integration, diagnostics, and reporting to management.
• Support project life cycle from feasibility to certification and production transition.
• Mentor other engineers in LEM's mentoring program.
• Interact with lead customers to understand problems and help define product roadmaps.
• Contribute to innovation with novel designs, IP, and technical papers.
