Your Role

The Electro & PLC Leader is responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). This role involves ensuring the reliability and efficiency of automated systems, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Role and Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers and PLC technicians, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.

  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project goals, expectations, and performance feedback.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

System Design and Implementation:

  • Oversee the design and implementation of electrical and PLC systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and standards.

  • Develop and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC programs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and software engineers, to ensure seamless integration of automated systems.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical and PLC systems.

  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve complex issues, minimizing downtime and optimizing system performance.

Project Management:

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical and PLC systems.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure that all electrical and PLC systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

  • Identify and implement process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance system performance and efficiency.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical and automation systems.

  • Drive initiatives to integrate new technologies and methodologies into existing systems.


To succeed, you will need

  • Education: university degree in Electrotechnics or Automatization

  • Experience on similar position min. 3 years necessary

  • Languages: local, level: fluent + English, level: intermediate

  • Electro qualification NV 194/2022 Sb.

  • Knowledge of reading electrical project documentation

  • PC skills: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, E-plan, internal ERP system

  • Driving license and willingness to travel regularly
