Requirements

• Technical Diploma or Certification in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electricity, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial automation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, and industrial automation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
• Experience with troubleshooting VFDs, sensors, control panels, and power distribution systems.
• Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
• Familiarity with safety procedures (PPE, electrical codes, and OSHA standards).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting
  • Perform routine inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, panels, and wiring.
  • Diagnose and fix electrical failures in industrial machinery, production lines, and utilities.
  • Repair or replace faulty wiring, motors, relays, circuit breakers, and sensors.
  • Ensure electrical systems comply with safety regulations and company standards.
• Installation & Upgrades
  • Install and configure new electrical equipment, control panels, and wiring.
  • Support machine upgrades, modifications, and automation projects
  • Assist in commissioning and integrating new production equipment
• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on electrical systems to reduce breakdowns
  • Monitor and test electrical loads, circuits, and energy consumption to optimise efficiency.
  • Utilise predictive maintenance tools (thermal imaging, vibration analysis, etc.) to detect early failures.
• Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies
  • Follow Food Safety procedures to ensure process safety.
  • Maintain proper documentation of electrical maintenance work and inspections.
  • Collaborate with maintenance technicians, process improvement, and production operators to resolve issues
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability and reduce energy costs.
