With significant investments secured, this data centre group is entering their next phase of growth and are looking to bring on board an Electrical Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the installation and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Ensure electrical systems are delivered to meet technical standards, tenant needs, and compliance with local codes, including energy efficiency principles.
- Proactively address electrical design or installation challenges on-site, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining the project’s critical delivery path.
- Monitor contractor progress and ensure alignment with design specifications and regulatory requirements during implementation.
- Review construction drawings and specifications, confirming technical compliance and feasibility of execution.
Requirements:- Proven experience managing the design, installation, and commissioning of complex electrical systems for mission-critical facilities such as:
- Solid understanding of electrical infrastructure, including.
- Familiarity with design software tools.
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects, ensuring timely delivery of electrical systems within schedule and budget constraints.
- Proficient in project tracking tools.
- Skilled in identifying risks during project delivery phases and implementing mitigation strategies without sacrificing quality or performance.
- Familiarity with building codes, permitting processes, and electrical regulations governing mission-critical infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of redundancy and sustainability practices for electrical systems in large-scale facilities.
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, external contractors, and clients, bridging technical requirements with execution strategies.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, drive successful outcomes, and resolve conflicts effectively in fast-paced construction environments.
