Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Grenoble, France, is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Electrical Engineer to join our Digital Surgery team. You will lead the development of electrical circuits and systems for next-generation robotic and digital surgical solutions.

As part of the VELYS Digital Orthopedic Surgery initiative, you will perform simulations, develop prototypes, and collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical design and development.
• Familiarity with electrical design and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of circuit theory, electronics principles, and electrical standards.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development of electrical circuits and systems, including power distribution, control systems, and signal processing using tools such as ALTIUM, or similar software.
• Perform electrical simulations and analyses using software tools such as MATLAB, PSpice, or similar platforms.
• Develop prototypes and conduct experiments to validate design concepts and performance against specifications.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into overall product designs.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and project reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues throughout the design and production phases.
• Support compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during the development process.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback on electrical designs and methodologies.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in electrical engineering to drive innovation in product development.

The Anticipated Base Pay Range For This Position Is

€53,500.00 - €85,790.00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
