Electrical Engineer - Paris - 12-Month Contract

Our client, a global (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation, is recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join them on their new expansion project. Based in a charming French location, this is on a contractual basis, and will involve significantly growing the site's capacity for the manufacture of Biologics.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
• Prior experience of supporting CAPEX investment projects from concept to operational handover
• Experience of working with internal stakeholders / internal and external contract teams
• Ideally French language skills
• Must be able to travel to France or be based within Europe.
• Design experience with Electrical Power Systems – power systems earthing, lightning protection and low voltage (LV) Systems
• Design experience with Building Services Systems – Lighting general and emergency, Fire detection and alarms and IT infrastructure.
• Design experience of process equipment
• Experience of pharmaceutical plant/operations or chemical engineering including hazardous areas
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience including experience with design and construction projects for the expansion of manufacturing facilities.
• Experience with complex projects and working in or around operating facilities.
• Experience within Clean Utilities such as clean steam, clean water, purified water, WFI (Water for injection).
• Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines. Good organizing and planning skills.
• Proven success working well in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills. Problem solver with a focus on achievement of overall project goals.
