Overview

Electrical Engineer - Hauts-de-France - 12-Month Contract

Our client, a global (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation, is recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join them on their new expansion project. Based in a charming French location, this is on a contractual basis, and will involve significantly growing the sites capacity for the manufacture of Biologics.

Responsibilities

• Support CAPEX investment projects from concept to operational handover
• Work with internal stakeholders and internal and external contract teams
• Travel to France or be based within Europe as required

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience including design and construction projects for the expansion of manufacturing facilities
• Experience with design and construction in complex projects for expansion of manufacturing facilities
• Design experience with Electrical Power Systems (power systems earthing, lightning protection and LV)
• Design experience – Building Services Systems (lighting general and emergency, fire detection and alarms, IT infrastructure)
• Design experience of process equipment
• Experience of pharmaceutical plant/operations or chemical engineering including hazardous areas
• Experience within Clean Utilities such as clean steam, clean water, purified water, WFI (Water for Injection)
• Experience working with complex projects in or around operating facilities
• Good organizing and planning skills; ability to keep pace and meet deadlines
• Strong leadership and communication skills; problem solver with a focus on achieving project goals
• Proficiency with computer tools (Spreadsheets, Word Processing, Visio, Microsoft Project)
• French language skills are desirable
