Flex Work Eligible! This position qualifies for the Flexible Work Policy. Employees receive 75 work days annually to work from home! The initial amount of days is prorated for the first year based on start date.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

The Designer II, Electrical is responsible for developing and maintaining design, detailed drawings, and related specifications of equipment under the direction of an engineer.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Functional & Technical Skills

1. Create conceptual layouts of machines, machine components, and systems to meet required specifications.
2. Prepare, check, and process Engineering changes to incorporate updated design to new or existing machines.
3. Read, understand, edit, and create electrical schematics in ladder diagram format.
4. Review electrical schematics and create electrical panel and enclosure designs, layouts, and bill of materials.

Operational Excellence

1. Maintain effective communication between departments and teams to support successful project releases.
