Electrical Commissioning Lead

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Lead to manage both the preparation and execution phases of electrical pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up (PCCSU) activities for a major decarbonisation infrastructure project.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare PCCSU electrical activities in line with schedule, quality, and budget.
• Coordinate with engineering to ensure commissioning requirements are integrated into design.
• Develop electrical commissioning strategies, procedures, and method statements.
• Define commissioning sequences and support electrical systemization.
• Prepare and review scopes for subcontractors; assess bids and participate in clarification meetings.
• Identify temporary power needs and vendor/subcontractor support requirements.
• Ensure commissioning test sheets cover all subsystem components.
• Support lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.

Site Responsibilities:

• Supervise safe execution of electrical commissioning work.
• Manage electrical resources, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Perform isolation/de-isolation, walkdowns, and validate construction completion.
• Utilize completion software to manage commissioning check sheets.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and support throughout execution.
• Maintain commissioning spares and support documentation.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in LV/HV commissioning, start-up of turbines and plant machinery.
• Leadership and team coordination experience.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• UK and ability to travel to Paris
• Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, 3D models; knowledge of ICAPS, Easyplant, or HYSYS is a plus.
