Job Summary

Role :

The E&A Engineer is a member of the Center of Expertise team (CoE) of the Business Area, supporting 80 sites in 22 countries, with 3,700 employees and €1.2 billion revenue. The role involves leading electrical & automation engineering aspects of industrial projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Defining electrical & automation design for projects
• Assisting in project cost estimation for electrical and automation parts
• Ensuring designs comply with standards, safety protocols, and regulations
• Optimizing designs for safety, operability, scheduling, evolution, and costs
• Establishing technical scopes and specifications, participating in procurement
• Analyzing technical offers and advising on supplier selection
• Managing project execution, site works, reviews, and acceptance tests
• Leading commissioning phases
• Managing costs and providing reports and documentation
• Training local teams

Travel up to 40% within Europe for energy assessments. Location flexible within Europe, preferably near transportation hubs.

Accountability

• Safety on all projects
• Compliance with electrical standards
• Timely project delivery within budget and performance expectations

Requirements include an electrical engineering background, high knowledge of industrial automation systems (4.0 skills a plus), electrical codes, standards, and experience managing automation and electrical projects for at least 10 years in an industrial setting. Fluent English and another language are required. The candidate should be adaptable, team-oriented, and focused on continuous improvement.
