Overview

A private, high profile family living in Paris is seeking an experienced and highly motivated candidate to fill the role of 'Head of Estate & Household Operations'. This role demands exceptional service orientation, organizational prowess, and an acute attention to detail.

The family have a staff of 10-15 people across security, housekeeping, education/nannies, along with a range of contractors across construction, Estate Management, and landscaping. This role requires a highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to lead initiatives across various operational domains. The role requires oversight of travel, estate, and personnel across Florida, Virginia and primarily, Paris. The role is entirely in-person in Paris, with some occasional travel needed.

They will manage day-to-day on-the-ground scope asks and personnel teamwork to ensure a seamless team environment that translates to excellent principal interactions and service. They are required to take ownership and triage of extended family asks, managing relationships, delegating, and ensuring asks are handled on the ground with care. This person must be adaptable and receptive to constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

The candidate would be required to oversee and manage all personal team members globally, including,

  • Global Estate Manager, oversee household staff across properties in the US, PA/EPA, Security, personal chef, boat captain, nanny/children's educators
  • Act as problem solver and overseer of scope, role, employee growth across a wide range of employees.
  • Plan, organize and run road ops across multiple different locations and trip types, coordinating across EPA, PA and other key stakeholders (in Paris and internationally)
  • Oversee and project manage all creation and organization of estate materials and admin
  • Hold strong oversight of all Principal and family spending
  • Manage all of the Principal's personal contracts, invoices, budgets, billing and expenses
  • Manage vendor relationships, construction, and repairs

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, efficient and able to handle on-the-ground responsibilities.

  • This role requires discretion and professionalism at all times
  • Clear and effective communication: the role requires constant communication with multiple stakeholders, including the principals.

Requirements

  • The candidate must have previous experience working in an Estate Manager/Chief of Staff role
  • Managing budgets and finances (will require deep collaboration with VP of Finance)
  • Project management experience of 5+ years
  • Oversight of a team/management of 7+ people
  • Prior work experience with high net worth individuals
