In the context of a maternity leave, we are currently seeking passionate individuals ready to make a difference for the open position of Key Account Manager F / M / X, based in Lyon (7e), starting in May 2025.

Aligned with our sales strategy and targets, and under the guidance of the Sales Director, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability for strategic accounts within a designated European region. The role involves expanding business in both product lines (Parenteral, Ophthalmic, Respiratory, and ENTD - Ear, Nose, Throat, and Dermal) and services (Design, Research, Human Factors, Contact Development).

Job Description :
  1. Key Account Management
  2. You will develop and maintain relationships across all levels of customer organizations, including purchasing, R&D, packaging development (technical), manufacturing, and marketing, facilitating both senior and operational contacts.
  3. You will organize governance processes, including setting agendas and preparing presentations regularly.
  4. You will foster effective working relationships with Nemera manufacturing facilities and project management teams to support customer needs.
  5. You will manage margin improvements through pricing strategies and cost reduction initiatives.

  2. You will identify and develop new business opportunities within and outside the current customer base through market research, networking, customer visits, trade shows, and prompt follow-up on leads provided by the lead development team.
  3. You will prepare presentations, respond to RFIs/RFQs, and handle costing and quoting professionally.
  4. You will lead regional sales strategies in collaboration with your line manager and marketing teams.
  5. You will negotiate contracts, collaborating with Nemera's Legal department and customers to ensure efficient approval processes, and secure long-term agreements through CDA negotiations and supply contracts.

Qualifications :

We are looking for:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a relevant discipline
  • Significant experience in Sales or Account Management, preferably in a complex, technical B2B industry
  • Result-oriented with strong analytical skills, understanding of financials, pricing, and legal drivers
  • Ability to build trust and support team goals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation skills, and a good sense of timing
  • Autonomous, an excellent listener, and a strong team player
Languages :

Fluent in English. French is a plus.

This role may require some travel. We also offer the possibility of working from home two days per week.
