We’re hunting for an Interventional Radiology Specialist, someone who’s ready to be part of the best ranked children’s hospital in Texas, and among the best in the nation. In this position, you will liaison between patients, radiologists, and other members of the support team. The Specialist integrates scientific knowledge; technical skills, patient interaction and compassionate care resulting in diagnostic information, and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Interventional Radiographers must maintain a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique. They must possess, utilize, maintain, and enhance knowledge of radiation safety and protection for self, patients, and others. The Interventional Radiographer prepares, administers, and documents activities related to mediation in accordance with state regulations and institution policy.
