Job Description:

BettingJobs is currently recruiting for a Sports Data Analytics Manager for a leading gambling operator. The role is remote-based with minimal travel to France every two weeks, or the option to relocate permanently.

Responsibilities:

1. Build, manage, and help grow a team of data analysts.
2. Help up-skill the team, providing hands-on technical and business guidance to analysts to ensure high-quality insights and output.
3. Define the evolution of our analytical strategy on performance analytics, key strategic projects, and data products through the identification of high value-added opportunities that will unlock business potential.
4. Maintain close relationships with stakeholders from business teams and other data departments.
5. Influence business teams when needed, pushing them to adopt the right KPIs and strategies.
6. Deliver insightful analysis with convincing, actionable recommendations that will impact the product quickly.
7. Manage 'Risk & liability' data products to support trading teams.
8. Develop recommendation algorithms in collaboration with the Data Science team.
9. Analyze product feature performance through state-of-the-art A/B testing.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or equivalent from a top university.
• Proficient in SQL & Python.
• Experience in managing and growing Data Analytics teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player, able to collaborate effectively in a matrix environment and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Familiarity with the gaming industry and knowledge of the gambling business model and offerings.
