Frontend Software Engineer - Design System team

About The Role

This role can be based in Paris, Rennes, Lyon, Tel Aviv, Barcelona, or remotely. Are you passionate about UX and detail-oriented in creating simple, clear, and remarkable online experiences? Do you want to work with cutting-edge web technologies in a multicultural team? We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer for our Design System Core Team.

Challenges include developing a comprehensive library of visual components, ensuring thorough documentation and testing, maintaining accessibility (a11y), and supporting diverse data display options. You will collaborate closely with UX designers and engineers to enhance the ContentSquare Design System.

We value experience, quality, and best practices, especially for components used across multiple teams. Designing customizable yet controlled components is crucial. You will join a team of 50+ full-stack engineers, with an average of 6 years of industry experience, engaging in knowledge sharing and tackling complex challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new components for the Design System
• Create tools to assist Quality engineers in validating new versions (visual regression, etc.)
• Write high-quality, test-automated code (unit and functional tests)
• Document new components
• Collaborate with feature teams to ensure components meet their needs; advocate for the Design System; work with a11y experts to ensure WCAG compliance
